This conversation has been incredibly enlightening—thank you, Azeem! On Saturday, May 10th, 2008, I had the privilege of attending the Pangea Day event in Rio, an experience that deeply moved me. Motivated by that encounter, I started translating TED Talks. Later on, I was among a select few invited by Lara Stein and the TED team to embark on an alpha project, which, at the time, didn't even have a name. It was only after a year of dedicated work that TEDx was born. This initiative eventually flourished, profoundly affecting my life. The experiences and connections I've made through TED and TEDx have led to a significant transformation in me.
