Beyond his chapter on College campuses, there have been a number of reports commissioned in the last few years around the wider benefit of publicly-funded, free to access spaces like libraries: broadening access to (certain forms of) knowledge, yes, but also the chronic need for spaces that can host community-based service providers like pre/antenatal support and information classes, groups combating loneliness, digital inclusion and education sessions for adults etc. Will be fascinating to read his thesis in detail.
