👀 My new TV show, Exponentially
Launching in less than 24 hours!
The moment our team has been gearing up for is almost here — for the past several months, we worked tirelessly to set up a new project. You may have noticed it mentioned a couple of times in passing, but now it’s too real not to tell you more about it.
I’m thrilled to announce the premiere of my new TV show and companion podcast, Exponentially, developed in partnership with Bloomberg Originals.
As far as we know, Exponential View is the first newsletter published on Substack that turned into a multi-platform, mainstream TV show!
The show will be widely available:
In the U.S. on your cable system, look for Bloomberg TV (BTV),
In other countries wherever Bloomberg TV is available, plus…
Online on Bloomberg.com,
Smart TV systems including Apple TV (download the free Bloomberg app), LG Channels, Roku, Tubi, and Vizio WatchFree+.
The companion podcast will be available wherever you listen to your favourite shows, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
The first TV show episode will be available for streaming on September 6, 8pm EST | 5PM PT | 1AM BST
The TV show will be broadcast in the US on BTV on September 6, 10pm EST | 7pm PT
The podcast will be published on September 7, 8 - 9am EST | 5am PT | 1pm BST
Who’s joining me over eight episodes:
Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas,
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman,
Entrepreneur and VC Vinod Khosla,
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei,
and others I won’t name just yet…
Why you’ll love it
If you enjoy the nuanced takes on technology and society from Exponential View, then this show will be right up your alley. Together, we’ll explore complex issues from multiple angles, including…
Could AI reduce global inequality by boosting productivity in the Global South?
What assumptions do we need to change about governance and conflict that could help us avoid Cold War II?
What does it mean to legally own your thoughts, and why may we want that to happen soon?
Special thanks to my incredible team, in particular the executive producer Fred Casella, researcher Chloé Ipert and production assistant Kathrine Kallehauge.
