Robots on the rise
The United Nations Industrialisation Report confirms many of our suspicions about robotisation worldwide. There is a key inflection point around 2011 in terms of robot density (which will also mask a much more rapid growth in robot use) China’s manufacturing productivity approximately doubled in the period 2011-2019. We can locate the epicentre of top-tier research in artificial intelligence. It is no major surprise that the United States continues to lead in this field.
