I had tea with a senior exec at a well-known public tech company last month. She has about a thousand engineers working for her, and nearly every one of them works with Claude Code. Productivity is up for individuals, but she doesn’t see proportional gains at the organization level. As she put it to me: “1+1+1+1=1.5”.
