I like Murray's paper, having read it, it's the first I've read that deals with the model as is. In the raw. I have quibbles, at least from my admittedly unusual standpoint, but I'll dump them on Substack. However, the paper itself is worth a read. Also if you've not already apply for access to bluesky as a twitter alternative.
Thanks for this. If you're not considering this already I would be very interested in any kind of Promptpack or post that delves into how to create custom bots using GPT-4: I've just started digging in here around a few ideas I've had but am feeling my way in the dark!
For sure! I’m looking to make a bot that dispenses ‘prescriptions’ of classic literary fiction to help with people’s big life questions, with its recommendations partly trained off a dataset built out of my own reading and reflections. I started building a version yesterday but would love a teardown! I’m sure you’ve got better ideas to use as potential Promptpack demos but I’m quite happy to offer this half-developed one for live vivisection.
Loved the concise explanations of the key concepts in OpenAI's announcements. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the suggestion, and it is indeed on our radar.
Would you care to share some of these ideas?

(Any and all feedback on the validity or idiocy of this idea from the Exponential View community braintrust is welcome too).
I’d love to hear more about your AzeemBot and DJBot.
