One of the UK’s leading bankers and EV reader, Huw van Steenis, joined a State of the Exponential to discuss the future of money with EV members. Huw was a senior advisor to Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, and is now the senior advisor to the CEO of the UBS.
Huw has done an enormous amount of work looking at the future of cash and trying to understand how we might replace cash with digital payment mechanisms. He has also looked at the potential of cryptocurrency and what paths it might take to become a meaningful part of the financial system.
