Hi, 

Following a short summer hiatus, we started our second season of the State of the Exponential briefings afresh. These briefings are a chance to use my network and bring in world experts on a relevant topic—delivered to premium members of EV.

This first briefing in the series was hosted by Diana Fox Carney, a Senior Adviser to Exponential View and Executive Director at Pi Capital, in discussion with our guest Myles Allen. Myles is the renowned Professor of Geosystem Science in the Environmental Change Institute at Oxford and one of the lead authors on the IPCC’s 1.5 degrees Special Report. 

Myles’ research focuses on how human and natural influences on climate contribute to observed climate change, the risks of extreme weather, and on quantifying their implications for long-range climate forecasts.
