Demis Hassabis is the CEO and co-founder of DeepMind, one of the leading industrial research labs focusing on the question of artificial intelligence. Demis is also one of the World’s greatest minds himself. As a teenager he was ranked number two in the world for his age in chess. An avid games player, he went on to win the flagship Pentamind event at the Mind Sports Olympiad five times in a row. Demis then combined his love of games with that of computing, designing the incredibly popular game Theme Park, with legendary games designer Peter Molyneux. After studying computer science at Cambridge, Demis went back to games design until 2009. Since then, he’s focused his energies on neuroscience in artificial intelligence.
